WE'VE BEEN TO SPACE
Mae Carol Jemison is an American engineer, physician and NASA astronaut. She became the first African American woman to travel in space when she went into orbit aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour on September 12, 1992.
Commissioned by the amazing Dr Jess To create a series of Mae Jemison dolls which travelled to nasa for the Hidden No More program at the State Internstioanl visitors Programme. These amazing Mae Jemison dolls have travelled all over the from the USA to JeJu Island in South Korea. Our dolls are now Mascots for the Hidden No More Programme living there best lives.
